MTN Ghana rewards winners of 30th anniversary promotion
More than 30,000 customers of MTN Ghana have been rewarded under a promotional campaign organised as part of the company’s 30th anniversary celebration.
The promotion, which ran from June to August 2026, rewarded customers with nine brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles, cash prizes and other rewards.
At the final prize presentation ceremony in Accra yesterday, three Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles and cash prizes were presented to selected winners from Zones 1, 2 and 3.
Among the awardees was Bright Twumasi Ankrah, who received GH¢30,000, while Benedicta Obeng Asare, Samuel Obeng and Medintey So-Otey each won a Toyota Land Cruiser.
Speaking at the ceremony, MTN Ghana’s Senior Manager for Consumer Marketing, Sandra Oduro Antwi, said the initiative was aimed at appreciating customers for their loyalty and support over the past three decades.
She explained that customers earned points through their regular use of MTN services, including making calls, accessing digital services, browsing social media and conducting mobile money transactions. Those who accumulated the highest points at the end of each month qualified for the prizes.
Madam Antwi said MTN partnered with KPMG to oversee the promotion and ensure transparency in selecting winners.
She encouraged the winners to enjoy their prizes and assured customers that the company would continue to introduce initiatives to reward their loyalty.
The promotion formed part of several activities organised nationwide to mark the anniversary.
One of the winners, Benedicta Obeng Asare, expressed gratitude to MTN for making her dream of owning a Toyota Land Cruiser come true.
“I am super glad. Thank you for making this dream come true,” she noted.
Ms Asare encouraged other customers to participate in MTN’s promotional activities.
