
Lawyers for Sammy Gyamfi, the Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod, have filed a motion seeking to set aside a defamation suit filed against him by Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the Minority Leader in Parliament.
The lawyers contend that the action is defective and “incurably incompetent”.
On August 25, Mr Afenyo-Markin, the Minority Leader in Parliament, issued a writ at the High Court in Accra, seeking GH₵15 million in compensation from Mr Gyamfi for defamation. Read More
