Adom Mpaebo Ministry ordains 9 pastors
The Adom Mpaebo Ministry in Accra on Saturday held an ordination ceremony for nine pastors, with a call on them to be truthful, loyal and faithful in propagating the gospel of Christ to win more souls into the Kingdom of God.
The newly ordained pastors are Daniel Mintah, Vida Eshun, Robert Atta Yankson, Emmanuel Amoah, Edward Quaye, George Afum, Patrick Asamoah Gyan, Isaac Mireku and Amos Aduboa.
Each of the newly ordained pastors was presented with a Holy Bible, pastoral collar and edified as they took the Holy Communion to quicken their spirit in God’s word.
Apostle Michael Ansah Sarpong, the Head Pastor of Original Church of Christ (Tema Branch) who officiated the ordination, tasked the new ministers of the gospel to firmly uphold the holistic Christian faith to defend the word against any form of indoctrination.
He said the sacred office comes with a lot of responsibilities and urged them to use their Bibles at all times, and consistently pray to overcome any principality that might rise against them and the church.
Apostle Sarpong noted when the newly ordained pastors become passionate about the teachings of the Biblical doctrines and sacraments of the church, it could be a vital tool that would set them apart in drawing multitudes to God.
He called on them to be obedient, humble and eschew any form of bitterness that might rise during the discharge of their duties.
He advised them to always remain loyal and guide their utterances in order not to say any word that might stain the image of the church, saying “you should carry the seed of the church and your action would determine the fruitfulness of the ministry.”
The Head Pastor of Arise Chapel, Reverend Charles Fredrick Annan, preaching on the theme, “Schemes of the devil to destroy a church”, admonished the newly ordained pastors to be strong in the Lord and serve the members and the head pastor of the ministry with humility.
Rev. Annan observed that, if they remained humble their ministry would flourish, adding that, “you should imitate the humility and loyalty of David for if you act likewise your followers would be loyal and truthful to you.”
He also counseled them against pride, arrogance and disobedience and urged them to be committed to the cause of God and distance themselves from evil forces and fake pastors.
The pastor of the church, Rev. Winifred Aihoon, who anointed the pastors, charged them to use their mantle to save people and expand the ministry.
She stated that they should always keep in mind that they were called by God to spread his message
