Bechem, Faisal Bechem, Faisal win in style
Alhaji Karim Grusah’s King Faisal FC at the weekend displayed a tremendous comeback as they fought from three goals down to defeat Berekum Chelsea 4-3 in their 11th-week Ghana Premier League (GPL) clash at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
Faisal’s win ends their seven-match winless run.
Chelsea will be cursing their stars for throwing away a comfortable lead they had enjoyed in the space of 18 minutes of the opening half.
They opened the floodgates through Paul Agyei Attah after the 10th minute mark before Stephen Amankona added a second in the 14th minute.
Having a fantastic early run, Agyei netted the third four minutes later to grab a brace.
Gamely, the Faisal boys were not overawed by the crushing scoreline, and fought back all-too fiercely. A penalty kick converted by hattrick-man Kwame Peprah started the comeback before the break as they trailed by two goals.
After recess, Peprah again reduced the deficit before Frimpong Boateng fetched fine equaliser.
Peprah was on hand again to grab a stunning equaliser that sent the home crowd into raptures.
The Ghanafa.org, also reports that Hafiz Konkoni and Listowel Amankona scored within seven minutes in the second half as Bechem United staged a wonderful comeback to beat Techiman Eleven Wonders 3-1 at the Fosu Gyeabuor park at Bechem on Friday.

The Hunters came from a goal down to beat Eleven Wonders FC 3-1 but not without controversy as Wonders coach Ignatius Osei Fosu got yellow carded for dissent. Abdul Karim Ayeh started for Bechem United in place of captain Salifu Moro.
Eleven Wonders opened the scoring in 7th minute after Samuel Boakye connected a pass from Ollenu Ashittey to score his first goal of the season to stun the hosts.
The Hunters levelled matters 15 minutes from full-time through a penalty kick, expertly converted by Emmanuel Owusu Boakye.
Hafiz Konkoni doubled their lead, seven minutes from time as he scored from close range in the 83rd minute.
Listowel Amankona put the game beyond the reach of the visitors in the 90th minute with a beautiful finish to hand all three points to the Hunters who ended their four match winless run.
Bechem thus move to the top of the table standings with 19 points from 11 games.
