Black Princesses begin camping for U-20 WWC qualifier against Uganda

Thirty-two Black Princesses are to report to camp to begin preparations ahead of their final round FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Uganda.

Jennifer Dawah of Epiphany Warriors and Veronica Baah of Hasaacas Ladies have been handed their first call-up for the qualifiers. Ghana defeated South Africa 3-2 on aggregate to progress to the final round, aiming for an eighth consecutive appearance at the biennial tournament.

Ghana will host Uganda in Accra on the weekend of May 1-3, before travelling to Uganda for the reverse fixture. The team is expected to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Sunday, March 29, 2026. A win will see Ghana qualify for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup to be staged in Poland from September 5-27.
