GWL urges stronger customer partnerships to improve service delivery

Ghana Water Limited (GWL), Accra North Region, has called for stronger partnerships with customers to improve water service delivery and customer satisfaction.

The company said stronger collaboration with customers would not only improve service delivery but also help protect its strategic assets for the benefit of the country.

The Regional Chief Manager, Mr Somuah Tenkorang, made the call when the company recognised selected loyal customers as part of activities marking this year’s Customer Service Month.

He, together with regional management and district teams, visited selected customers across the region, engaged them on their experiences with the company and presented souvenirs in appreciation of their continued patronage and support.

Mr Tenkorang expressed gratitude to the customers for their loyalty, stressing that collaboration and mutual understanding between GWL and its customers were essential to improving service delivery.

The initiative also provided an opportunity for the company to urge customers to pay their water bills promptly and avoid accumulating arrears, which it said could affect its operations and efforts to improve services.

GWL encouraged customers to use its payment channels, including the *1010# USSD platform, the GWL Customer App and other approved electronic platforms, to settle their bills conveniently.

The Accra North Region was carved out of the former Accra East Region and comprises four districts: Accra Northeast, Agbogba, Adenta and Dodowa.

The region said it would continue to strengthen customer relations through regular engagement and responsive service delivery.
