Honda Place launches new Honda CR-V-Sports Utility Vehicle 2024 model in Accra

The Honda Place (THP) Ghana Limited has launched the all new Honda CR-V-Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) 2024 model in Accra.

The Seven-seater car is a 1.5L Turbo Charged Engine vehicle with a bold and stylish exterior appearance that comes with Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Coffee Cherry Red Metallic, Brilliant Sporty Blue,and Crystal Black Pearl colors among others.

The vehicle is equipped with advanced technology and safety features including an air diffusion system, 8 airbags, hill descent control, hill start assist and an emergency stop signal.

Other  features are the auto rain sensing wipers, power folding mirrors with smart cameras, alloy wheels, front andrear fog lights, LED Headlights and day time running lights, smart entry with touch sensor panoramic sunroof and walk-away auto lock.

The General Manager of THP Ghana Ltd, Mr.Manish Daryanani stated that the CR-V was a perennial class leader representing the SUV C segment.  

He added that it was a manageable size, versatility, and do anything nature, “makes it perfectly suited to be whatever you want it to be, from a suburban task-runner to a practical family vehicle.”

The GM said the new  CR-V features all new rugged and sophisticated styling that further advances the new Honda design direction .

The Marketing Coordinator, THP, Mr Jerry Abdallah , in a presentation on the vehicle said the new Honda CR-V was a spacious interior car with a solid, premium Sports feel, with contemporary fabric, leather, and soft-touch material combinations.  

“The CRV is  designed with advanced safety and technology features with sophisticated design inside and out, such as Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, Auto High Beam Support and 360 Multi View Camera.  

The system automatically switches the headlights from high to low beam, so you can concentrate on the road ahead,” he added.

MrAbdallah said the vehicle’s rear seat occupant reminder notifies the driver to check the rear seat when the ignition was turned off to prevent any rear occupant from being left behind before the car was locked. The vehicle was equipped with a power tailgate.  

The Marketing Coordinator noted that Honda cars are equipped high safety standards as it has  Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE™️) body structure for even better compatibility with larger vehicles with improved occupant protection in angled frontal collisions, with a new upper A-pillar structure, side frame and lower firewall structure, all designed to route crash energy around the cabin.

The launch also sidelines the unveiling of its all new Honda Civic, a modern design paired with a high-tech, human-centered interior, and equipped with advanced active and passive safety systems and the all new Honda Accord, equipped with a 1.5  Turbo  direct injection Atkinson cycle engine with Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT).
