International Turkish Businessmen’s Association(INTISAD) has appointed young seasoned businessman and cultural diplomacy expert, SheikhIddrissToppoh, to lead its business interest in the entire Africa region.
Sheikh Toppoh is expected to oversee the management of existing business portfolios of the International Turkish Businessmen Association and supervising its growth within the African region with new inroads that tap into the diverse business opportunities in Africa.
The appointment announced by the Global President of INTISAD Av. Selahattin Par, is expected to be beneficial to both Turkey and Africa, as INTISAD focuses on ethical business practices by building reliable trade and entrepreneurial network around the world and sensitive local laws and regulations.
Leading the International Turkish Businessmen’s Association in Africa, Sheikh Toppoh is also expected to leverage his business experiences and networks to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement based in Accra Ghana, by implementing measures that can maximise the agreement’s potential gains for INTISAD within the largest free trade area in the world measured by the number of countries participating which connects 1.3 billion people across 55 countries with a combined gross domestic product (GDP) of US$3.4 trillion.
Sheikh IdrissToppoh is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of a string of companies including AlhajiToppoh LLC, ALtup Ghana Resources LLC, AltupSecurity Escorts, AalYaseen Ghana, a subcontracting firm AlhajiToppoh Civil Works, Help Dunya E.V in Ghana, Par Football Club among others with annual turnovers running into thousands and millions of Ghana cedis including humanitarian endeavours.
