Accra Ubuntu Lions Club swears in executives for 2026/27 service year

The Accra Ubuntu Lions Club has held its 2026/2027 handing-over ceremony to propel newly sworn executives to effectively steer the affairs of the club throughout the service year.
Held in Accra recently, the handing-over and installation ceremony inducted Lion Diane Novis Zukowski, MJF, as the President of the Accra Ubuntu Lions Club to indefatigably serve and usher the club to a higher pedestal during the service year with her able executives.
Taking over the mantle from the previous President, Lion Frederick Mensah Kwahene, MJF the newly sworn President, Lion Zukowski acknowledged the past presidents for their enthused roles in modeling the club.

She added that, the past presidents have chalked great testaments for club and she is poised to put Accra Ubuntu Lions Club on a higher pedestal with her team and members inclusive to build a formidable club filled with results-oriented members.
The President reiterated on Lions Club commitment to serving humanity and impacting lives, hence her team would be keen on leveraging leadership excellence to tackle various interventions as embodied by the Lions Club mandate.
On behalf of the newly sworn executives, the President thanked the club for the confidence reposed in them to steer the affairs of the club.
She charged the new executives to lead by the mandates of Lions Club and also strengthen the course of unity and fellowship among club members.
Also, she admonished executives and members to uphold the Lions Club code of ethics and also abode by virtues of an accountable, transparent and collaborative leadership.
Chronicling a recent retreat held for the Board of Directors of the club, she noted that the Lions Club focuses on building members’ knowledge in leadership skills.
Building members’ capacity and leadership skills is actually one of the core ways Lions Clubs International operates; hence, the club is not just to show up and serve but also to enhance one’s capacity building, she expressed.
Lion Zukowski MJF underscored that there are certified guiding Lion Program and Club Officers training programs that develop members’ horizons in professional endeavours, including project management, communications, and team-building skills.
This, she accentuated, has the tendency of aiding members in improving their workplace obligations by enhancing their leadership skills.
“These hands-on experiences translates directly to professional settings and members stand chances of building a global network of service-minded professionals across industries, which often leads to mentorship, collaboration and career growth.
The new president who is focused on the club’s growth admonished professionals and individuals to join Accra Ubuntu Lions Club to help serve humanity in order to collectively make the world a safe place for all.
