GFA charges 10 WPL clubs for breaching pre-match interview rules
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged 10 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League clubs for failing to conduct mandatory pre-match interviews with coaches and players.
The teams, Police Ladies, Faith Ladies, Northern Ladies, Supreme Ladies, Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies, Prison Ladies, Jonina, Army Ladies, Hasaacas Ladies, and Halifax Queens, allegedly violated Article 34 (6) (d) of the GFA Women’s Premier League Regulations, 2019, and the 2024/2025 Pre-Match Directives.
The breach occurred ahead of Matchday 17, with the GFA, stating that such misconduct brings the game into disrepute.
The clubs have until Tuesday, April 8, 2025, to respond to the charges.
