Nii Armaah Kwafio Family urges occupants, encroachers to regularise tenancy with family

The Nii Armaah Kwafio Family Stool says it would use peaceful and lawful means to resolve disputes with litigants on its land.
Notwithstanding, the family is urging occupants and encroachers, including persons who bought parcels of land from those other than the Nii Armaah Family to take steps to regularise their stay on the land with the family.
Again, the family advises occupants to use mitigation rather than violence in litigation concerning the family lands.
Addressing a press conference in Accra on Monday, Chief of Armaahman, Nii Armaah Kwafio II, said the family had no intention to remove encroachers on the land, noting that the court on February 25, rightly declared the family as the rightful owners of the land[S11] .
“The Nii Armaah Kwafio Family has no intention whatsoever of sacking any encroachers on our properties. That notwithstanding, we expect that the encroachers will respect the February 25, 2025 judgement,” Nii Kwafio II said.
He contued that: “If they have issues, mitigation in court could be an option and not violence. We will not entertain violence. They have to comply.”
“We are giving any occupants who have acquired parcels of our land from any estate developer other than Two Steps and Odlamp Investment Company Limited a month ultimatum to atone tenancy and come for regularisation. Our Secretariat is opened to all,” he added.
Nii Armaah Kwafio II said although the family won judgements in court, it was yet to enjoy peace as encroachers disrespect the decisions by encroaching on the land.
The Armaah Kwafio Family land is measuring about 8,095 acres which comprises 14 communities.
They include Omanpchia, Otaten, Ashamoa, Bisease, Kwaku Panfo, Akutuase, Abuasa, Amasa Kwami (Awuleman), Fawutirikosie, Honi Adawroma, Tenbibian, Akotiaku Gonoman, Okotorbu, and Aboagye
