 Savannah Regional Minister to champion infrastructure development

The Savannah Region­al Minister, Mr Salisu Be-Awuribe, has expressed his commitment to collaborat­ing closely with the staff of the Savannah Regional Coordinating Council to achieve the region’s objectives.

He stressed his determination to facilitate infrastructure devel­opment within the area.

Mr Be-Awuribe made these remarks during his first day in of­fice on Wednesday while engaging with the staff of the SRCC and department heads in Damomgo.

He said that the advancement and growth of the region were of utmost importance to him, high­lighting the necessity for collec­tive support to ensure successful development.

“The Savannah Region is newly established and requires significant development; without your assistance, I believe we can­not progress,” he stated.

He noted that the purpose of the meeting with staff and department heads was to foster a spirit of collaboration and establish a productive working relationship as he embarks on his role as the newly appointed regional minister.

Mr Be-Awuribe further asserted that his tenure as minister would bring about positive changes and prosperity throughout the region.

He assured the staff of his willingness to work with every­one, regardless of their political affiliations.

His vision includes encourag­ing staff and department heads to diligently pursue the region’s development.

Additionally, he highlighted the importance of collaborating with traditional authorities as a priority in his administration to ensure effective regional development.

He pledged to consistently consult with traditional leaders to secure their support for any development initiatives that arise.

Mr Be-Awuribe affirmed that he would always be open to ideas on advancing the region’s devel­opment.

He concluded by assuring the staff of his readiness to coop­erate with them in their collec­tive efforts toward the region’s progress.
