Apostles Revelation Society observes the Fifth Transition period

Members of the Church of the Apostles Revelation Society (ARS), Gbedzi, on Sunday climaxed their three-day observation journey of the “Fifth Transition Period” (Tortroryiza) with thanksgiving service at the International Headquarters, New Tadzewu, Gbedzi, in the Ketu North Municipality in the Volta Region.

Dubbed; The Fifth Transition Period, and observed in all Regional and District branches, the members fasted, kept vigils accompanied by bonfire to God for reprieve from hardships, individual problems of diverse nature.

Special prayers were also said for an end to the numerous conflicts, wars and the hardships for victims, the church, the nation Ghana, the Government and the citizenry.

The “Transition Period” instituted by the founder, is a moment of plea or a Holy day where one asks for forgiveness of sins of their forefathers and similarly, one asks God to take away all the curses on earth, which includes misfortunes and sicknesses of various forms.

The Administrator of the Church, Apostle C. K. Attipoe, speaking at the service commended the members for holding on to the doctrines of the church which would be bequeathed for future generations.

The three-day spiritual observance, he explained, was instituted in 1961 by the late Prophet C. K. N. Wovenu, to help build the spiritual life of the church as well as spread God’s word to other parts of the world which has been fulfilled till date.

“There are more evangelism missions ahead, so you must be prepared to spread the word to communities you have not been before because God’s word does not die”, he added.

Apostle Attipoe charged the members especially the Apostles not to attempt to add anything to the word of God as God is everlasting and they the members are his inheritance.

Reverend Johanes Amenudzi, in his sermon urged the members to use the wisdom of Solomon by humbling themselves, fear and do the will of God in order to understand how to use God’s words.

The Ketu North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Prince Martin Kwabla Amenaki, commended the church for their constant prayers for the nation which has impacted many lives.
