BLAG Ghana honoured at 2021 PGAH awards
The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of BLAG Ghana, pioneers in artificial turf construction in Ghana,Mr Eddie Dankwa has been awarded with Top Quality/Dedicated Service Honours at the Presidential Globe African Heroes Honours(PGAH) 2021 in Accra.
The awards organized by the World Diplomatic Federation (WODIF) and the Rectitude International Mission (RIM) was in recognition of Mr Dankwa’s contribution to the development of Ghana’s sports since their inception in 2013.
Mr Dankwa was presented with a trophy, citation and decorated with a robe for his efforts.
Presenting the award on Friday, Ghana’s representative for WODIF and RIM, Mr Isaac Rockson said, BLAG Ghana has contributed marginally to the growth of sports and needed to be recognized.
He said, with the availability of good pitches across the country, Ghana would become an exceptional country as far as football was concerned.
Mr Rockson encouraged the youth to explore all avenues in sports to help contribute to the growth of the nation.
BLAG Ghana CEO, Mr Dankwa on his part, expressed appreciation to the organizers for the recognition, adding that it would go a long way to motivate him to do more to support sports development.
“It has been a long journey getting to this level as pioneers of the artificial turf idea and we are grateful to be recognized for our efforts,” he stated.
