Fabin: Aduana need 5 new signings to fight for title

Aduana Stars Head Coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin has said that his team needs at least five new players to be considered title contenders.

The two-time champions last won the league title in 2017, and currently sit second in the Ghana Premier League table.

Following their big win over Asante Kotoko on Sunday, Fabin insisted his team cannot be deemed contenders for the title because they lack squad depth.

“We need not less than five new players to be considered title contenders in the league,” Fabin said.

“For now, we are not contenders; we are just trying to find our rhythm. But definitely, we need to reinforce if we want to be counted as contenders for the league title,” Fabin concluded.

Aduana Stars next host Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
