GSE up 4.86 points; financial stocks shed 20.46 points

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) Composite Index (GSE-CI) closed yesterday at 14,712.00 points. The index inched up 4.86 points from 14, 14, 707.14 points.

The GSE Financial Stocks Index (GSE-FSI) fell 20.46 points from 8,238.91 points to close at 8,218.45 points.

Overall, the GSE Composite Index recorded a year-to-date change of 67.75 per cent while the Financial Stocks Index is down 76.85 per cent.
