Police arrest 4 over Lamin Yamal’s father attack

“Serious but out of danger” was the latest update from authorities regarding the health of the father of Spain’s rising football star.
Mounir Nasroui, 32, apparently had a heated altercation on Wednesday night in a parking lot in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataró, Barcelona.
The Catalan police force, Mossos d’Esquadra, continue to investigate, tracking down the perpetrators of the knife attack on the Moroccan Nasroui, father of the Barcelona prodigy, Lamine Yamal.
On Thursday, they arrested the alleged fourth suspect they had been searching for since Wednesday night. This brings the total to four, adding to the three already apprehended by a joint operation between the Mossos and the Mataró Local Police.
Charged with attempted homicide, police are questioning several witnesses. This will include the detainees and, of course, Mounir himself, once he is discharged from Can Ruti Hospital in Badalona and in a stable enough condition to recount the events following the grim incident.
The stabbing occurred around 9 pm, according to police reports. However, Nasroui’s afternoon was much more turbulent.
Videos circulating online showed the young Moroccan involved in a scuffle with neighbors from his suburb.
Later footage shows Mataró Local Police separating the two groups and seeking explanations for the altercation. It seemed the situation was escalating. —insidethegames
