Esther Hora wins Face of Faith Africa Beauty Pageant
Esther Hora was last Saturday emerged winner of the third edition of the Face of Faith Africa Beauty Pageant held in Accra.
The pageant which was aimed at promoting girl-child education and eradicating girl-child prostitution across Africa saw Ms Hora of Equatorial Guinea, dazzle judges and audience with her beauty and intelligence to walk away with the ultimate crown.
She was followed by Joana Mills from Ivory Coast while Thessy Jones from Zambia was the second runner-up.
In all, eight contestants battled it out in the pageant after going through a 10-week training on moral values, effects of child prostitution and early girl-child marriages.
The contestants were grilled on their knowledge in relation to the training on the final day of the contest by renowned judges including, Miss Ghana 2019, Abena Akuaku; Legendary Gospel Artiste, Diana Hopeson; award winning singer, Seth Diamond and Executive Director of Gospel Town Africa, Robert Cudjoe.
Organisers are looking forward to maintaining the contest and making it bigger in subsequent years.
