AfroFuture and Industrie Africa Launch Groundbreaking Partnership to Elevate Emerging African Designer

AfroFuture—a global cultural entertainment platform celebrating the diverse culture
and work of the diaspora—and Industrie Africa, the leading retailer of luxury and
contemporary designs from the Continent, hosted an exclusive dinner to mark the
launch of their highly anticipated collaboration.

The collaboration, live today (September 6th), features a curated assortment by AfroFuture of emerging designers from across the African Continent on IndustrieAfrica.com.

Powered by Martell Cognac, the evening was enriched by a multi-course dining
experience crafted by Chef Nana Araba and sounds curated by celebrated Liberian
DJ Mohogony. Among the notable attendees were Afrobeats breakout global
sensation Libianca and former Beyoncé stylist Ty Hunter, who gathered to celebrate
this exciting new chapter in African fashion.

Launching during New York Fashion Week, this partnership goes beyond a simple
collection. It offers an immersive experience through a blend of digital and in-person
events, designed to celebrate the rich creativity and diversity of African expression.
The curated assortment of over a dozen emerging designers is now live on Industrie
Africa’s website, hosted on a special “AfroFuture” product page.

This digital collection will be available until December 31, 2025, with featured designers participating in key cultural moments throughout the year, including Lagos Fashion Week and the
celebrated AfroFuture Festival in Ghana.

This collaboration is just the beginning, as both AfroFuture and Industrie Africa are
committed to a long-term partnership aimed at continuously elevating African
designers and creatives.

“This groundbreaking partnership between AfroFuture and Industrie Africa marks a
pivotal moment in amplifying the next generation of African fashion designers.
Together, we are committed to elevating the creativity, sustainability, and diverse
expression of the Continent on a global stage.” – Abdul Karim Abdullah, Co-founder
of AfroFuture.

“As we prepare for our five-year anniversary next year, we’ve been reflecting on the
many ways that Industrie Africa has developed as an empowerment tool for some of

the most dynamic designers from the Continent. It’s been our highest honor to be a
stage for these creatives and make the world aware of the level of meticulous
craftsmanship and unmatched storytelling that goes into the art they produce.
As this partnership with AfroFuture has taken shape, both brands share the
sentiment that our collective efforts to continue platforming the next generation of
creatives must live in the fabric of this collaboration.

We’re elated to have the
opportunity to represent the industry through this striking edit of designers, and
look forward to how this partnership will continue to unfold.” – Nisha Kanabar,
Founder and CEO of Industrie Africa.
