Barcelona hoping to register Dani Olmo, Pau Victor, Inigo Martinez by Friday

Barcelona still have some work to do regarding player registrations before they start their new La Liga season on Saturday against Valencia.

New signing, Dani Olmo, is still waiting to be registered, while Barca are also keen to ensure Pau Victor and Inigo Martinez are eligible for their opener, according to Sport.

Martinez was only registered for one season when he was signed last summer, but Hansi Flick is said to be keen for him to be available for the weekend.

Barcelona are said to be fairly confident they will be able to register all three players but are still waiting for the green light from La Liga.

It still remains to be seen if Olmo will be involved at the weekend. The new signing did not feature in the Gamper Trophy clash against Monaco and has only had a couple of training sessions with his new team.

However, Flick will be without a host of key players for the match due to injury. Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Ansu Fati are all sidelined, while Fermin Lopez is taking a break after winning gold at the Olympics. —Barcablaugrane
