Chief Lobbyist congratulates Hanna Louisa Bisiw on her appointment

The Chief Lobbyist of the National Association of Loacal Government Authorities of Ghana (NALAG), Mr Jeremiah Quayson, has called for effective collaboration to ensure the timely allocation of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) to Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across Louisa the country.

This follows the appointment of Dr Hanna Louisa Bisiw as the Administrator of the DACF, a role that places her at the helm of equitable resource distribution to support grassroots development.

In a statement issued in Accra, Mr Quayson congratulated Madam Bisiw on her appointment, describing it as a recognition of her leadership and dedication to national development.

He stressed the importance of a seamless working relationship between the DACF Secretariat, the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, and other key stakeholders to prevent delays in disbursements that could hinder essential development projects.

“We are confident in Madam Bisiw’s ability to lead this charge with integrity and professionalism. Her success in this role will directly translate into improved service delivery, better infrastructure, and economic empowerment for communities across Ghana,” he stated.

He also urged MMDAs to ensure transparency and accountability in managing the funds allocated to them, noting that proper utilization would enhance public confidence and attract further investment in local development initiatives.

The Chief Lobbyist reaffirmed his office’s commitment to working closely with Madam Bisiw to achieve the DACF’s objectives and drive sustainable development in Ghana’s districts and communities.
