I’m back for good-Osofobaa Gloria
In her quest to preach Christ and impact lives through music, gospel dynamo, Osofobaa Gloria Aidoo, who is an Immigration Officer, has bounced back with another inspirational album, christened “EMMERE NO NIE.”
The eight-track album feature amazing gospel diva Nhyira Betty on the title track, “EMMERE NO NIE.” Some of the songs include,Den na me mfa, Dadaadaa,and Me som Awurade among others, which would be officially launched next month.
Speaking to The Spectator, the gospel artiste, who is a lady-pastor also at Jesus Generation Ministries, said, she realised that it was now time to release her fourth album, after her long break, which was as a result of some challenges she encountered in her music journey.
This notwithstanding, she is back to her calling of ministering to transform lives of others, adding that she was back for good.
The “EMMERE NO NIE” to wit, “the time is now” singer has come back to active music to be a blessing onto the music lovers in Ghana and beyond.
Explaining the content of the song, she said, there were times and seasons, “as long as we live, we must avail ourselves to do something when the time is due, and by the grace of God, it will be successful.”
According to her, the song encourages people to desist from postponing responsibilities and projects expected of them and act now since procrastination is the thief of time.
Advising young artistes in the industry, she said, “everything is about commitment, but they should listen and allow God to have His own way. I believe that with God all things are possible.”
She further said, “the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Mr.Kwame Asuah Takyi, who is my boss, keeps saying something which touches my heart, according to him, position is not your possession, Make sure you do your best in any position you find yourself, so that in your absence, you can be remembered for a good cause.”
Osofobaa Gloria, urged all Christians to be upright in their lives and change their environment them through their positive attitude.
She said the songs were already out on online music stores, and other music shops in the country.
Some of the engineers who worked on the songs include, Cha-Jay, James Mireku, and Dan Basi, among others.
The pastor cum Immigration Officer released her first album in1996, second album in 2014 and with the determination to make a headway in the music industry, released the third spirit-filled album in 2016, and presently out with her fourth album.
