Achimota to host maiden MTN 2024 Invitational golf tournament Saturday
The Achimota Golf Course in Accra will be the action spot for over 100 exciting golfers who wants to etch their names in the history of the sport.
The occasion is the first MTN Invitational golf tournament for 2024. It is expected to tee off on Saturday as 6:30am with golfers beaming with extreme confidence.
A representative of MTN told the Times Sports yesterday that the event will draw golfers from clubs across the country,
adding that, “invitations have also been extended to high-profile patrons, setting the stage for an exciting event.”
In all, there would be 12 categories of awards, with MTN preparing an array of surprise packages for the participants.
And as part of its strategy, MTN aims to leverage the tournament to foster business relationships and build new connections among the elite golfing community.
“Golf offers a unique opportunity to network, establish new friendships, and strengthen business ties. It’s a sport that helps relieve stress, anxiety, and even depression, while teaching discipline, strong work ethics, and perseverance, even when the game becomes challenging,” the MTN representative stated.
