The draw for the group phase of this season’s African Confederation Cup was conducted on Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa, setting up exciting clashes among some of the continent’s top football clubs.

In Group A, Algeria’s USM Alger will face Djoliba of Mali, Olympique Safi of Morocco, and San Pedro from Ivory Coast.
Group B features Tanzania’s Azam, Maniema Union of DR Congo, Nairobi United of Kenya, and Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca — who recently sealed qualification after eliminating Ghana’s Asante Kotoko.
Group C pairs Chabab Belouizdad (Algeria) with AS Otoho (Congo), Singida Black Stars (Tanzania), and Stellenbosch (South Africa).
Meanwhile, Group D promises fireworks as Egyptian giants Zamalek and Al Masry lock horns with Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa and Zesco United from Zambia.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals in March 2025. The group stage kicks off on Sunday, November 23, and continues through to mid-February next year.
