The Anyinam Fire Station safety education team, spearheaded by ASTNO Hector Colley, intensified its public awareness campaign at Ayigbe Town within the Anyinam Township.
Residents were educated on key fire prevention measures, including safe use of electrical appliances, switching off devices when not in use, and avoiding overnight phone charging.
The team also highlighted the importance of maintaining functional fire extinguishers, understanding evacuation procedures, and keeping basic fire safety equipment readily available.
The public was further cautioned against prank calls and advised to contact the Fire Service only in genuine emergencies.
