Newly-promoted side, Kasena Nan-Kana picked their first maximum points of the campaign with a 2-0 win over former premier league side Eleven Wonders, in the Division One League (DOL) match-day 5 clash at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Saturday in Zone 1A.

The winning visitors have a game in hand against Kumbung Bimbiem on opening day, but a new date is yet to be confirmed following their unfortunate armed robbery attack fortnight ago.

The debutants can, however, boast of a point after a goalless draw with Wa Suntaa but have been victims of two defeats to Debibi and Wa Yaasin which eneded 2-0 and 1-0 respectively.

Emmanuel Kweku Sarfo fetched the opener for the away team in the 27th minute from a corner-kick before Abdul Latif Ibrahim completed the win in the 37th minute with no goals in the second stanza.

In Zone 1B, Baffour Soccer Academy bounced back from their narrow 1-0 lost to Young Apostles last weekend to thrash Unity 5-1 at the Nana Konamansah Park.

A brace each from Emmanuel Adomah Boateng and Ntori Prince with another from Bernard Boateng sealed their third win of the campaign.

The visitors grabbed a consolation through Emmanuel Yeboah who scored from the spot.

Pacific Heroes managed another draw against New Edubiase which eneded 1-1 at the EjisuOkese Park in Zone 2. Christian Owusu’s 38th minute goal was cancelled out by Ebenezer Agyapong’s late goal in additional time.

In Zone 3, Attram De Visser played a determined game on Friday, but drew goalless against Volta Rangers.

Na God put up a spirited performance to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Golden Kick at the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday.
