Bishop Boxing Promotions appoints new Business Strategist
Bishop Boxing Promotions has appointed Mr Samuel Opoku Amoah as its new Chief Strategist of Business Affairs & Boxing Development.
Sam Nana Gold, as he is affectionately known, is a distinguished figure in Ghana’s boxing landscape.
According to a statement from the promotional syndicate, Sam Nana Gold joins the stable with his rich experience in the sport and is expected to boost the business aspect of it.
He currently performs several roles as a Boxing Writer, Ring Announcer, Commentator and a Boxing Agent.
With this experience, he garnered the Best Boxing Writer Award in Ghana in 2023, and was voted the Best Ring Announcer in 2024 and is renowned for his dynamic presence at events.
His expertise extends to providing live commentary and serves as a matchmaker and administrator of the Square Deal Boxing Club at Chorkor, Accra.
“In addition to his boxing career, Sam is a committed Language Tutor, a passionate Preacher, and a devoted family man. His dedication and contributions have significantly shaped the Ghanaian boxing community, and he has been involved in key events such as the Ghana Professional Boxing League and the Commonwealth Games,” the statement reveaaled.
