The Imam of Fise Community in the Ga West Municipality, Accra, Sheikh Tijani Ahmed Haruna, has admonished Muslims to submit to the will of Allah in all their actions.

He also underscored the need for Muslims to ensure they did not lose cognisance of Edi-ul-Adha and focus on thinking about the lessons that could be derived from it.
“As Muslims, our actions must always reflect what is in the Q’uran, let us love one another, honour our parents and promote tranquility wherever we find ourselves. We must use occassions like this to also remind ourselves about what Allah expects from all as we live on this earth,” the Imam added.
Touching on the need for Muslims to be generous, he stated that showing kindness to one another was also very necessary, adding that people should not always think of gaining so much wealth before extending help to the vulnerable, but rather share the little they have with people who are poor.
Such acts, he said showed true love for humanity and also attracts unquantifiable blessings from Allah.

Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated each year to mark the end of the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, which is one of the five pillars of Islam.
At Eid-ul-Adha, Muslims slaughter ram as a sacrifice to Allah’s command to Prophet Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael, and Allah rather gave him a ram in lieu of his son, after he passed the test of Allah.
