Hearts, Kotoko draw Golden Kick, Eleven Wise in MTN FA Cup R16
Record holders of the MTN FA Cup, Accra Hearts of Oak have been drawn against Division One League side Golden Kick FC in the Round of 16 of the competition.
The draw held yesterday at the Ghana Football Association Secretariat will see the Phobians trek to the Tuba Astro Turf to face the lower tier side in a game expected to be full of fireworks.
At the draw Kumasi Asante Kotoko were pitched against the 1982 champions Sekondi Eleven Wise.
The battle between the Porcupine Warriors and the giants from the west at the Baba Yara Stadium will be another epic encounter to look out for in this round of games.
Two-time champions, Medeama SC have been drawn against PAC Academy with FC Nania clashing with True Democracy in an all-Division One League encounter.
2016 champions Bechem United will be in Techiman to face Liberty Youth, Berekum Chelsea will stay put at the Golden City Park in Berekum to host Northern City while Karela United and Young Apostle slug it out in an all Premier League encounter at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale with Attram De Visser taking on Bibiani Gold Stars at the Tuba Astro Turf.
The FA Cup committee will in the coming days announce the dates for the Round 16 fixtures.
