Cities shock Dreams

Dreams FC were given a rude shock as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to visiting Legon Cities FC at home in Dawu yesterday in the Week 12 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

It was a rare win for the Cities at the Theatre of Dreams.

The only goal of the afternoon was scored in the 49th minute by Adu Obour who produced a stunning solo run to score for the Royals.

Dreams FC were later awarded a penalty after Issah Yakubu’s strike hit the hand of a defender inside the box, but Ali Huzaif who elected himself for the dead-ball, blew away the opportunity.
