Gold Stars pip Aduana FC

Defending champions, Bibiani Gold Stars, moved closer to the leaders, Medeama SC, after a 1-0 victory over Aduana FC in their Match Day 12 clash at the Bibiani Dun’s Park yesterday.

Leading top scorer, Samuel Atta Kumi, struck the only goal of the game through a spot kick on the 16th minute to record his seventh goal of the campaign.

After the goal, Aduana FC opened up in search of the equaliser, however, strikes from Seidu Saana, Mizack Afriyie, Emmanuel Marfo and Abubakar Adams failed to find the back of the net as goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi made impressive saves.

In the second half, Atta Kumi came close to increasing the tally but goalkeeper Prince Osei for Aduana FC made a fine save.
