Take Heart FC prepare for new challenge
After qualifying to play Division Two football this season, Take Heart FC has signed two players; a striker-Randoff Badu from Okor Norwomi and Zagot Abayateye, a right winger from Kpong.
The duo, together with other players to be announced soon, would boost the squad for the upcoming season and beyond.
Head Coach, Samuel Obodai told the Times Sports the registration was to augment the squad as they prepare for qualification to the Division One League (DOL) next season.
That he said, was also to make the team from Anyamam in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region a force to reckon with.
“We are here to stay and would do everything to make the team formidable and competitive at all fronts,” he stressed.
Take Heart beat Kasserh Barcelona 1-0 to win the 2020/21 Division Three League which ended in October.
In all, 13 clubs divided into two zones of A and B in the Ada East and Ada West Districts participated in the competition.
The four teams that excelled featured in a playoff which saw Kasserh Barcelona and Take Heart clash in the finals to determine the winner.
