Author Ralph to head Global Youth Network of World Conference of Mayors

A renowned Ghanaian writer, Mr David Raphaelle Kwaku Antwi, also known as ‘Author Ralph’, has been appointed as the Head of the Global Youth Network of The World Conference of Mayors, Incorporated (WCM).
His appointment was announced yesterday in a statement signed by Mayor Johnny Lawrence Ford, Founder of the Conference.
Author Ralph is a prominent Ghanaian writer of over 60 bestselling books and the founding president of the Relevant Achievers Impacting Nations (RAIN) Foundation. He is widely known for serving, mentoring, and impacting young people over the past 29 years.
He has nurtured hundreds of successful writers and helped transform the lives of many socially disadvantaged individuals.
Mayor Ford described leadership as the “lengthened shadow of every organisation,” adding, “Our world is what it is today, largely because of leadership.”
The conference, headquartered in Tuskegee, Alabama, has long been involved in initiatives aimed at improving global leadership, particularly in governance.
He explained that the organisation seeks to prepare the next generation of leaders to take over from their predecessors across various sectors of society, including governance.
This objective will be achieved through activities designed to train youth to become responsible citizens, aware of societal challenges, and equipped with solutions.
“Through mentoring, conferences, and other activities, the network aims to reach, train, and impact young people for the general benefit of our world,” Mayor Ford stated.
The Global Youth Network of The World Conference of Mayors, Inc. is expected to host five strategic inaugural conferences this year across Africa, America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
